“These high-touch surfaces are cleaned daily in hotels but often overlooked at home,” she notes.

When it comes to wiping down surfaces, her recommendation is to use microfiber cloths.

“Usemicrofiber cloths, which are essential for trapping dust and dirt without leaving streaks,” she says.

They are soft and non-abrasive, can be machine-washed, and don’t leave behind streaks or lint.

“These areas collect dust and fingerprints and are part of a hotels deep-cleaning routine,” Antunez says.

“The devil is in the details.

Quality inspections by multiple sets of eyes help ensure no details have been missed,” Gomes says.
