Sometimes, its a matter of giving the plant more sun and less water.

Place your aloe vera in plenty of bright, indirect light.

A south- or west-facing window is best.

Youll know your aloeplant is being overwateredwhen the leaves develop water-soaked spots that look soggy and soft.

Its almost as though the entire leaf becomes saturated with water and then turns to mush.

Gently remove any dead or mushy leaves and roots.

This is also a good time todivide your plant if it has several offshootsgrowing from the base.

Then, replant the aloe in a pot with a drainage hole and keep it on the dry side.

Move the aloe to a brighter spot oruse a grow light.

If you see brown spots on the aloe plant, the culprit might be the fluoride in tap water.

Switch to rainwater or purified water.
