It’s best to keep the turkey as cold as possible until you make it back to your freezer.

Transition your turkey from the freezer to the fridge based on how its size.

If its 10 pounds, you should move it 48 hours before youre planning to cook it on Thanksgiving.

Grab your meat thermometer!

All of these areas need to reach at least 165F.

before your turkey is safe to eat.

And yes, you still need to check the temperature of your turkey if it has a pop-up button.
