Risks are really going to be dependent on what ant species you have, Brown says.

Some may be a nuisance while others can sting and still others are considered a wood destroying insect.

Whatever you do, dont let the problem fester.

Finally, some species like carpenter ants can cause significant damage to the structure of a home.
