Prioritize Accessibility

When setting up your cozy cave, prioritize accessibility to your most-used items.

“Anything so I don’t have to move,” she says.

If your room allows, add a table and chair dedicated to your favorite activity.

Luckily, Welch says cozy caves are stillachievable in small spaces.

She recommends creating a “cozy corner” instead of designing and decorating a whole room.

“If you have the room, get a little corner,” she says.

“It depends on your house, but I feel like yourbedroom would be a good spot.”

Corners in your office, basement, porch, oreven a hallwaycould also work.
