Saying goodbye to each other.
They described the end of shooting as like leaving the best friends you made at summer camp.
Thats the idea behind The Edit, a new element led by Shearer and Teplin.

This not only leaves them with the tools they need but teaches them how to use them.
Holland calls this the heart of the series.
I don’t want people to miss that, Bellizaire says.
I think that is incredible for anyone to wrap their head around.
And I think that’s the way that each episode unfolds.
They also learn about their needs before designing and decorating the homes so they can give them something personalized.
Our hope is when they walk in, they say something like, How did you know?
… That’s what we’re working toward.
It’s a lot of pressure.
I think that’s what we hold on our shoulders.
Getting to reveal the houseseeing the reactions and even tearsmade it sink in that they were changing peoples lives.
So it’s not just like, ‘Oh, that’s a cool thing.’
