Once you are sure the area is safe, dig out the post holes.
The diameter of each hole should be about three times the width of the post.
Use a tamper or the bottom of the post to tamp down the gravel.

Mix the concrete in a wheelbarrow according to the manufacturer’s directions.
check that that the concrete slopes away from the post so that water does not pool around the wood.
Repeat this process with each fence posts, then leave the concrete to dry and solidify.
Consult the package directions to find out how long you should wait.
Mount brackets on the fence posts to hold the rails using exterior screws and a drill.
Secure the rails to the brackets with exterior screws, then repeat this process for each rail.
Install Pickets or Panels
After the rails are in place, set up the pickets or panels.
If you’ve opted for panels, then this step is relatively easy.
Repeat this process for each panel.
If you’re installing pickets, this process takes a significantly longer amount of time.
Measure and cut the pickets, then position the first picket against the rails of the fence.
Repeat this process for each picket.
Repeat this process for each post cap.
This addition gives the fence a professionally finished appearance.
