What Is Porcelain?

Porcelain is awhite ceramic material.
Two of its properties make it an especially greatchoice for a bathroomor kitchen sink.
For starters, it’s a hard material.
It can withstand the occasional drop of a cup or plate from wet and soapy hands.
Secondly, it often has an antimicrobial coating, so it’s a hygienic material.
For example, ammonia can cause the finish to corrode.
The same goes forstore-bought drain cleaners.
Porcelain is also susceptible to scratches, so hold off on using extra abrasive scrubbers like steel wool.
The spray attachment can be useful for spreading the water across the surface.
Use a sponge to wipe down the entire surface.
Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Use paper towels or a sponge to buff the sink’s surface and work out the stains.
Remove Rust Stains
Baking soda and vinegar can be effective in removing any rust stains present.
Rinse and Dry
Run a fresh stream of water through the sink.
Using a clean cloth or paper towel, wipe away any cleaning residue.
Use a microfiber cloth to dry the sink.
Simply run some extra water after each use to guide the debris down the drain.
The glazing on a porcelain sink can wear off over time.
