Simply pre-treat the slime stain with a homemade solution, wipe the stain, and launder it.
Give the vinegar a little timeabout 5 to 10 mintuesto work its magic.
Wipe the Stain
For small stains, use a cloth to blot the stain and vinegar.
Scrub the spot with the toothbrush if the stain is stubborn.
If there is still a stain, repeat the treatment.
Dont put the stained item in the dryer.
The heat will set the stain, and you will never get it out.
Create a Cleaning Paste
Use 1 part baking soda to 2 parts vinegar to make acleaning paste.
Allow the homemade paste to air dry.
Wipe Off the Dried Paste
Use a cloth and warm water to wipe off the dried paste.
Scrub lightly with the toothbrush if necessary.
Wash the item of clothing as usual with laundry detergent.
Check the care tag for any special instructions regarding water temperature and cycle speed, and follow the directions.
After laundering a slime-stained article of clothing, see to it the stain was removed in the wash.
If there is still staining, repeat the stain treatment.
Dont put the stained item in the dryer.
The heat will set the stain.
