This will protect your surface and help you cut perfectly straight lines.
All seam allowances for this project are 1/2 inch.
Fold the fabric rectangle in half with the right sides together and pin.
(The velvet side of the fabric should be facing inside.)
Be sure to use a thread the same color as the fabric.
Pin and stitch one of other shorter sides closed as well.
Make Center Marks
Mark the folded edge perpendicular to the last open side.
Use a fabric pen to prevent bleeding ink.
This line will be on the inside of the pillow when you’re finished.
pop pop the pillow holding the marked line, and bring it toward the first seam you stitched.
Pull tight to see the wedge shape.
Pin and stitch the opening closed.
Press Seams and Finish
Turn the pillow right side out and press seams with an iron.
Pressing the seams will help the triangular pillow maintain its shape while stuffing.
Find the opening along the side of the pillow.
To finish, whipstitch the opening closed.
