Dig out your favorite nail polish colors for this fun (and surprisingly easy) no-carve marble pumpkin project.
Heres a new twist onpainted pumpkinstry nail polish.
The polish sits on the surface of the water, so the pumpkin picks it up when dunked.

Theseno-carve pumpkinstake time to dry completely.
Plan for at least an hourideally 24 hoursof drying time before adding them to yourDIY Halloween decor.
(Use a container you dont mind staining.)
The water should be deep enough to completely submerge one pumpkin at a time.
Do not use gel nail polish as it requires curing with a UV light to set.
Most of the polish will sit on the surface, but dont worry if a few drops sink.
verify your water is lukewarm to room temperature.
Remove the pumpkin from the water and set it on a paper towel or paper plate to dry.
Gloopy, old nail polish may clump and mix poorly.
Use your decorated pumpkins as acolorful Halloween centerpiece, orline them up on a shelf or your mantel.
Just be aware that nail polish may cause some craft foams (like Styrofoam) to melt.
Nail polish marbling pops onwhite pumpkins, but theres no reason you cant use orange ones if you prefer.

Black faux pumpkins would also be striking.
Just be sure to choose nail polish colors that contrast with the pumpkins color so they show up.
However, if you feel inspired to try it, go for it!

Avoid using gel polish unless you have a large enough UV light to cure and set it.
