Choosing a Strawberry Pot
Strawberry pots can be found at almost any garden center or hardware store.
Keep in mind that the more soil a container has, the better the container can hold moisture.
And see to it your planter has a drainage hole.
One thing to remember when caring for herb plants is to NOT overfertilize them.
you’re able to also make the root balls smaller by carefully stripping them of excess soil.
Place your herb planterin full sun.
Water it when the soil starts to feel dry.
Stay away from overly aggressive herbs, though.
This includes varieties ofmint, lemon balm, andcatnip.
Good choices to grow in this jot down of pot arethyme, basil, sage, andoregano.
Mix and match colors of leaves to add interest.
If the basil or other herbs begin to bloom, snip off the flowers as soon as possible.
The flowers signal to the rest of the plant that it’s time to stop growing.
Removing blossoms can encourage the plant to grow more leaves.
Don’t limit your strawberry pot to just strawberries and herbs, either.
it’s possible for you to alsogrow your favorite flowers in the planter’s pockets.
If you’re planting multiple varieties of flowers, just be sure that they have similar care needs.
