Knowing how to propagate a prayer plant lets you expand your collection for free.

These baby prayer plants should have at least several healthy stems and leaves and their own root systems.

Using a clear glass propagation jar makes it easier to keep track of root growth and water quality.

Place the cuttings back into medium light and care for them like the parent plant.

Using a sharp, sterilized knife or pair of scissors, take stem cuttings from healthy prayer plants.

Poke planting holes in the mix with your finger, then place one stem cutting in each planting hole.
