Ingredients
1(15-oz.
Cover and blend or process until smooth, stopping to scrape container as needed.
If desired, add one or more stir-ins.
Serve Hummus
Spoon hummus onto a serving platter.
If desired, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with pine nuts and/or paprika.
Serve with pita wedges, tortilla chips, and/or vegetable dippers.
How to Make Hummus Ahead
Prepare as directed.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 24 hours in advance.
What to Add to Hummus
Change-up the flavor with some of our recommended hummus add-ins for inspiration.
Use as a topper or blend in with the main ingredients.
Artichoke-Green Onion Hummus
Drain one 7.5-ounce jar marinatedartichoke hearts.
Chop two artichoke heart quarters; set aside.
Add drained artichoke hearts and 1/2 cup chopped green onions to food processor with beans.
Top Hummus with reserved chopped artichoke hearts, sliced green onions, and Parmesan cheese.
Transfer cauliflower to a bowl of ice water until cool; drain very well.
Prepare as directed, adding cauliflower and 2 Tbsp.
harissa paste to food processor with chickpeas.
If desired, swirl additional harissa paste on top of Hummus just before serving.
