I recently hopped on the Swedish candy train and have fallen in love with Bubs and chewy strawberry bonbons.

During a2019 interview, Taylor called the raspberry and cream gummies “legit candy.'

Here’s what I thought of Taylor’s go-to sweet.

What Are Squashies?

Squashies are a soft and chewy marshmallow-like candy from the British brandSwizzels.

The candies are fat-free, gluten-free, and peanut-free.

In the United States, you’ll find a version of the gummy under theSmartiesname.

Today, you’re free to find both brands online and in stores like Five Below.

If Taylor’s endorsement wasn’t enough, I read through rave after rave review on Amazon.

What Do Squashies Taste Like?

The version of Squashies I tried was raspberry and cream flavor.

The candies were soft and chewy with just the right amount of sweetness.

The flavor wasn’t strongly raspberry, but just enough that it paired well with the cream half.

And while the flavor was fantastic, it was the texture that kept me coming back.

They’re very soft, like amarshmallow, but with chewiness like bubblegum or circus peanuts.

I polished off the entire bag in an afternoon and immediately bought three more.

They’ve become a favorite dessert in our house.

And I’m not sorry to say I’ve hidden a bag from my kids for candy emergencies.

I will absolutely buy a bag or two any time I see them.

I can’t wait to give the other flavor combination a try.

I have high hopes for sour cherry and apple.
