This spaghetti recipe first appeared in our magazine in the ’30s, and we still get requests for it.

It’s easy, and people can’t seem to get enough of it.

Ingredients

1lb.ground beef

1mediumonion, chopped (1/2cup)

1(10.75-oz.

)cancream of mushroom soup

1(10.75-oz.

Add the soups, chili powder, bottled hot pepper sauce, black pepper, and ground red pepper.

Bring to boiling, stirring often; reduce heat to simmer.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions.

Serve sauce over hot cooked pasta.

Sprinkle with cheese; pass additional sauce and cheese.
