How to Make a Bow Garland

There are multiple ways to make a simple holiday bow garland.

While each method is made with different materials, they are all low-cost and low-lift.

you’re free to purchase a pack of pre-made bows on Amazon or at your local crafts store.

Or make your own bows using wide pieces of velvet or satin ribbon.

Continue gluing or sewing until you reach the end of your garland.

Once the glue is cooled, hang the garlandon your mantel, banister, or TV stand.

To hang the garland without nails, use clear, removable adhesive hooks at the corner of the bows.

Cut a piece of cording to match the length.

Next, feed the cording through the hinge of the metal hair clip.

After the cord is through, push down the metal clip, securing the cord inside.

Ana O. showed how she weaves and secures the cord through the clip in aTikTok video.

Continue this process until all of the bows are attached to the cord.
