Cover and chill about 30 minutes or until filling is firm.
Place dipped cookies on a sheet of waxed paper.
Let stand about 30 minutes or until chocolate coating is set.
Tip:
If you prefer, use the microwave to melt the candy coating.
In a small microwave-safe bowl combine candy coating and the 1/2 teaspoon shortening.
