Ingredients
1(0.7-oz.
)packetzesty Italian dressing mix
2Tbsp.all-purpose flour
2(10- to 12-oz.)
Dredge both sides of chicken breasts with flour mixture, pressing to adhere, shake off any excess.
Cook Chicken
In a very large skillet heat oil over medium-high.
Add chicken breasts and cook, without turning, 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer chicken to a plate; set aside.
Cook Vegetables
Add butter to the skillet and heat over medium-high.
Add garlic to the skillet and cook 30 seconds more.
Make Sauce
Add broth and wine to the skillet.
Cook and stir to scrape up the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Reduce heat and simmer until broth mixture is reduced by about two-thirds, about 5 minutes.
Whisk in cream and sour cream.
Finish and Serve
Return chicken to the skillet and bring to a gentle boil.
Garnish with parsley and cracked black pepper, optional.
If desired, serve over rice.
