For more information on how we tested electric scrubbers in our lab, check out our testing process below.

There was only one power level and it can be challenging to maintain control without a strong grip.

Despite its motor, we found the scrubber to be lightweight.

We also appreciated the grip pad at the top for our palm, making it effortless to hold.

We quickly cleaned the bristle brush head by submerging it in the water while still attached to the scrubber.

The sponge brush head only required a bit ofsoap and waterto come clean after use.

We found another major benefit was that the scrubber came with a rechargeable battery and a hangingcharging station.

Although there was only one power level, we found that sufficient for scrubbing thetile and grout.

The handle may be too large for those with small hands.

The bristles of the scrubber were durable, never fraying or bending during testing.

Cleaning the scrubber was a simple process by just turning on the scrubber in a bucket of water.

The electric scrubber’s handle is designed with rubber grips, which increased our comfort while using it.

Only one scouring pad is included and any additional attachments are sold separately.

After our testing, we concluded that the best battery-operated electric scrubber is theBlack+Decker Power Scrubber Brush.

We found the rubber grip and small handheld design made the scrubber easy to hold while in use.

Despite its weight, we never felt fatigued while holding it.

This scrubber was far more efficient and comfortable to use than a manual one.

It did a quicker job of cleaning the tile with themud mask stainand with less effort.

There is only one scouring pad included, so others will have to be purchased separately.

During our testing process, we were able to use a bristle brush head that came with another product.

The process of removing and replacing the brush heads was done without difficulty or any added mess.

While there was only one power setting, it was enough for our cleaning purposes.

We also never felt we would lose control of the rig.

We did notice that when pressing down with the bristle brush attachment we used, the scrubber stopped working.

However, it continued working when the pressure was released.

It may not be powerful enough for tougher, stuck-on messes.

If you need an electric scrubber with a long handle, we loved theHattyRoom Rechargeable Cordless Electric Spin Scrubber.

It is extendable from 30.7 inches to 41.3 inches, making it suitable for hard-to-reach places or tough corners.

Even though the grip wasnt padded, we had no discomfort while using the scrubber.

Plus, the cap stayed connected, so we weren’t concerned it would be easily lost.

We attached the extended rod without difficulty, and it stayed in place while scrubbing.

However, we did believe a stronger power setting may be preferred for tougher jobs.

We also noticed that the extendable rod may not be long enough, depending on where you are cleaning.

We also appreciated that it was rechargeable and came with a charging station where we could hang the unit.

Our Testing Process

We began our testing by assembling the electric scrubber.

For scrubbers with multiple attachments, we chose the brush with the flattest surface.

We also tested any abilities the scrubber had to rotate and change angles.

Eachsquare of the tile floorwas covered with a mud mask.

We sprayed a tile cleaner on one tile and allowed it to sit for one minute.

We cleaned until the tile was clean or 10 minutes had passed.

Then, we adjusted the speed accordingly.

We determined how efficient and quick the electric scrubbers were at cleaning up the mud mask.

We also rinsed the scrub brush heads, noting if there were any fraying or bent bristles after cleaning.

Then, we rinsed the brush heads, noting how easy it was to do so.

However, some may require you to purchase them separately.

It is your go-to area that requires a bit of muscle.

A scouring pad is good for surfaces that require scrubbing on large areas.

This is ideal for countertops, large bathroom tiles, and kitchen surfaces."

We liked that theKlever Electric Spin Scrubberincluded eight brush head attachments, which were all various bristle brushes.

Its important to remove the brush heads and avoid soaking the entire scrubber unit."

Power Source

Electric scrubbers are either battery-operated, rechargeable, or corded electric.

Each option has its specific benefits.

Corded electric scrubbers are reliable since you dont have to remember to charge them.

However, they have a couple drawbacks, too.

One of the best electric scrubbers features a rechargeable battery, such as theBlack+Decker Grimebuster Pro Power Scrubber Brush.

This allows you to charge the batteries and maintain full mobility while cleaning.

It also had two power prefs and it was extendable.

However, we didn’t appreciate that there was no handle for support.

Plus, it seemed overpriced compared to other options that had similar features and benefits.

We also liked that the mud mask didn’t spray everywhere when using the electric scrubber.

Compared to a manual brush though, it performed about the same.

In fact, we preferred the manual option to this scrubber.

However, we did feel this would be an ideal electric scrubber for harder-to-reach places.
