During set up, the instructions were refreshingly understandable and the entire process took around 45 minutes.
Theres also a handy LCD screen that lets you know how much battery is left.
It cut down mowing time by about 25 minutes, and it was super intuitive to operate.
The lawn was rather damp, but this mower powered through straight paths, mowing everything in sight.
There are also reflective side decals and bright headlights for additional safety, too.
The seat was comfortable thanks to its adjustable suspension, and it even had storage compartments for smallergardening tools.
And as if that wasnt enough, there are two USB ports for charging a phone or other devices.

It never got bogged down, and it even discharged grass clippings with damp grass.
We appreciated that the battery charged quicklyit only took an hour for it to be fully charged again.
We also liked that this lawn mower had several safety features.
When the mower is in reverse, the blades automatically turn off and the mower emits a warning beep.
The mower also beeps if you get up from your seat while the mower is on.
There are also LED headlights for clearer visibility, although they dont seem bright enough to mow at night.

Placing the robots guiding wire down with the included stakes was a fairly painless but time-consuming task.
The mowers battery is in the robot itself so you dont need to take it out to charge it.
In fact, when its out of juice, it takes itself back to its charging station.
For reference, a single charge will give it enough mowing power for three hours.
Setup was quick, and the mower proved to be intuitive and user-friendly.
This unit mulched anything we rolled it over, including grass and weeds that were several inches high.
The wheels offered good traction, which was particularly helpful when we had to mow up the slopes.
The mower started up right away every time.
There are adequate safety features, including the two-handle start-up requirement, and a removable electric start button.
The lawnmower can store vertically and the battery charger can be wall-mounted for further space saving.

The self-propel buttons do not lock for continuous movement.
The EGO Power Plus LM2206SP lawn mower was one of the easiest mowers to use.
We used it to mow a 2,600-square-foot yard with a small incline and one large tree.
The instructions were straightforward and we never needed to revert to them at any point.
To activate the self-propel, you press one or both of the specific buttons on the handle.
This unit comes with one battery that can run for 70 minutes on a single charge.

For the price, we think this is a wonderfully efficient and capable mower.
In fact, it actually made us look forward to the task.
In comparison to other styles, which are sometimes around 100 pounds, this is a very lightweight option.
Other options include choosing between attaching the bag, or letting the lawnmower mulch the grass instead.
The handle folds all the way down, making this small mower even more compact to store.
When its dying, there’s no warning; it just slows down and comes to a halt.
The bag is quite small, however, so it filled up quickly and needed frequent emptying during mowing.
We rated portability on how each unit could be moved around and stored.
“The grass pop in and height can also factor into lawnmower run times.
“If you have a mower with two batteries, you get double the runtime,” Swanson says.
According to Swanson, the recommended lawn mower voltage corresponds to the size of the yard you’re mowing.
The deck’s height determines the length the grass will be once cut.
Decks with an adjustable height give users the choice of selecting different grass lengths for more landscaping design options.
This also means they are ideal for anyone with limited storage space.
Collapsible handles can also contribute to these mowers' space-saving abilities.
Its also lightweight, low maintenance, and much quieter than your typical gas mower.
Setup was hassle-free, as was getting it up and running.
The self-propel function, while convenient, made a squeaking noise that sounded a bit like a remote-control car.

How big of a mower should I buy?
Choosing the size of an electric mower will depend on your lawn size and preference.
Electric mowers range from 14 to 21 inches in cutting width, Clayton says.
The larger the cutting width, the fewer passes you gotta make.
But on the other hand, larger mowers are heavier, more expensive, and harder to maneuver.
How long does the battery last in electric mowers?
Additionally, specific types of batteries last longer than others.
Clayton also adds that a couple of other factors will have an effect on the battery life.
Continuous use drains the battery faster than intermittent use; cold weather reduces the battery performance.
This will helppreserve the lifespan of your lawn mowerand minimize the need for repairs or purchasing a replacement mower.
What is the lifespan of an electric mower’s battery?
A cordless electric lawn mower’s battery can last up to five years with proper care.
