Serve the finished steak with extra garlic butter for dipping.
To make air fryer steak bites, preheat the air fryer to 400F.
Prepare steak bites through step 1.
Toss steak bites in oil.
Place steak bites in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes or until well browned and just pink in the center.
Transfer to a serving platter.
Prepare garlic butter as directed in step 3, drizzle over steak bites, and sprinkle with chives.
Cut into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook Steak
Heat a 12-inch heavy or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak bites to skillet, in batches if needed (do not crowd the skillet).
Cook 2 minutes on each side until well browned but still pink in the center.
Remove steak bites from skillet, keep warm.
Make Sauce
Wipe out skillet using wet paper towel held with tongs.
Melt butter in the skillet over medium-low.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Drizzle over steak bites.
