The Super Bowl gives us more than just a football game.

But for Jesse Palmer, its a simple affair.

To me, it’s mingle and food, he says.

I think when you start setting up stations, it starts to feel like aBachelorgroup date.

Growing up, Palmer would always look forward to watching the big game with his family.

(And the irony is, I was playing in the NFL, he says.

My parents actually went to the Super Bowl [in person].

I did not go to the Super Bowl.)

When asked if he was intimidated by such a unique beverage, he declined.

I’m never scared when it comes to beer, he says.

But when in doubt, bring in as many players as you canhaving limited options is for amateurs.

The biggest mistake I used to make in my early hosting days was not having enough variety.

Therefore, he stocks up on the dips: Along withFrench Onion, he recommends Heluva Good!

’s Jalapeno Cheddar, Bacon Horseradish, and Buttermilk Ranch.

Same with dippables: Set out a big bowl of chipsanda platter of veggies to satisfy the masses.

Easy to plan, organize, cheap, affordable, he says with a dose of sarcasm.

You know, the show never ceases to amaze me with its creativity and fantasy.

The important thing to always remember is conversation and connectionyou can have that anywhere.
