You need a really tight crumb.
So instead, he often opts for sandwich bread, specifically fromSara Lee Artesano.
This is my favorite new bread just because it has a little sugar to it.
I have made the best grilled cheese sandwiches in awhile on that particular bread.
), start with 2 slices of Sara Lee Artesano bread.
Then top each mayo-coated slice with cheese from edge to edge.
Season with salt and pepper, then top one half with the other.
