White Elephant is sometimes also referred to as Yankee Swap or Dirty Santa.

There are a couple minor differences though.

The person with number “one” chooses a present to unwrap.

If they take the present from the first person, that person chooses another present to unwrap.

The game continues until all presents have been unwrapped and everyone has a gift to take home.

The game also lasts longer because there aremore presents(and steals) to get through.

When agreeing on a budget, consider the income ranges and lifestyles of everyone.

Plus, the game itself is fun.

And what’s a better gift than laughter?
