It’s a wedge salad that rivals that of any restaurant’s.

We used ranch dressing in place of blue cheese, and a grand assortment of salad toppings.

Instead of blue cheese, we topped ours withhomemade buttermilk ranch dressing.

This almost guarantees that any dinner party guest will enjoy this salad.

It’s a great light dinner option, or the ultimate side salad for your next at-homesteak night.

What Is a Wedge Salad?

The structure of the wedge is something of a spectacle!

The process starts with one head of iceberg lettuce cut into quarters.

Freezing the wedges briefly before adding the toppings gets each salad nice and refreshingly crisp.

Plus, it keeps the integrity of the wedge intact.

Don’t forget to add a dash of cracked black pepper!

Once each wedge is topped, serve and enjoy.
