Crunchy cereal combined with peanut butter makes the base.
Then top with a sweet vanilla pudding mixture which thickens up with powdered sugar.
Finally, spread a quick and easy homemade chocolate frosting over the top.
It gives the bars a little something extra and pairs perfectly with the peanut butter layer on the bottom.
These bars are sticky!
We recommend lining your pan with foil, extending over the top so each bar releases nicely.
you’ve got the option to use regular or non-stick foil for these no-bake bars.
Heat and stir for 1 minute more.
Stir in peanut butter until melted.
Stir in rice cereal and cornflakes until coated.
Press mixture into the bottom of prepared pan.
Add Pudding Mixture
For pudding layer, in a medium saucepan, melt the 3/4 cup butter.
Stir in powdered sugar, dry vanilla pudding mixes, and milk.
Spread pudding mixture over cereal layer; set aside.
Spread frosting over pudding layer.
Cover and chill about 1 hour or until set.
To serve, remove set mixture from pan by lifting foil.
Place on a cutting board; cut into bars.
To store, layer bars between waxed paper in an airtight storage container; cover.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
